CAMEL POSE VARIATION

My daughter Emma just turned two, and she
needs my full attention. Even if I’m multitask-
ing, I am giving Emma some percentage of my
awareness and then the task gets the rest.
I practice yoga while Emma naps, and I love
this time to myself. Right now, it’s also my pre-
cious time to deepen my connection to my
growing baby.


As I do yoga, I am able to visualize her and how
she is doing in there. It’s not that I can actually
tell how she’s feeling, but I do feel her. It seems
like we’re building a connection.
Maybe that’s BS. I don’t know. But I think me
believing it is what matters. The first pregnancy
is so meaningful, and I want to give this second
child all of my good intentions.
