JENNIFER BLAIR is an actress and writer
based in New York, NY. A graduate of
the University of Texas at Austin, she has
also trained extensively with NYC’s
Atlantic Theater Company Acting School.
In her free time she enjoys cats, synthesiz-
ers, and single malt scotch. Find her profile

LAURA BREILING is a German illustrator
based in Berlin who works for such clients
as The New York Times, Google, Nike,
Bloomberg, The New Yorker and many
more. Her bold portfolio features a lot
of political work, especially feminist and
gender related topics. Check out her art at

for our “Best Places to Live and Work as
a Moviemaker” feature on pages 60, 61,
70 , and 72.

CAITLIN DÍAZ is a film editor and colorist born
and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas
and based in Los Angeles. Her experience
with film restoration and archival work
has given her the privilege of scanning and
color remastering Belladonna of Sadness,
The Estate of Ana Mendieta, and her own
family’s Super 8mm home movie collection.
She likes gardening, collecting rocks, the
ocean, watching telenovelas, and drinking
aloe water. Find her article on the keys to
working with a colorist on page 38.

HutcH is an award-winning director of
photography and producer based in Dallas,
Texas. His recent work includes Yen Tan’s
1985 , starring Cory Michael Smith,
Virginia Madsen, Jamie Chung, and
Michael Chiklis. He also shot Tan’s Pit Stop,
which played at the 2013 Sundance Film
Festival, and Cameron Bruce Nelson’s
Some Beasts, for which he won a cinematog-
raphy award at the 2015 Dallas International
Film Festival. Read his article about shooting

NATALIA LEITE is a Brazilian moviemaker.
Her 2017 feature, M. F. A ., about rape and
revenge on a college campus, premiered at
SXSW. Natalia loves psychological thrill-
ers, the occult, and Orbeez. Her work has
been described as having both “a bracing,
assertive style” by Variety and “emotional
intelligence” by The Los Angeles Times.

CALUM MARSH is a writer born in
Great Britain and based in Toronto. His
writings have appeared in such periodi-
cals as The New Yorker, The Guardian,
and Playboy, and he is the chief arts
reporter for the National Post, Canada’s
leading daily newspaper. His dogs,
Norman and Hector, are good boys.
