Studio iO is an urban sanctuary, an oasis of calm amidst the busy Brighton
city streets; you’ll feel the tranquil atmosphere as soon as you enter. Centrally
located, just minutes’ walk to Brighton seafront, this is a little gem where you
can relax, unwind and explore. It’s ideal for exploring diferent yoga practices
too: a peaceful, intimate environment with daily classes in restorative yoga,
meditation to hatha, vinyasa low, ashtanga, TRX and Tai Chi.
The space was opened by Holly Cooper, who has practiced yoga for 20
years and ofers one-to-one tuition. By seeing her students on a regular
basis, in an intimate class setting, she focuses on individual strengths
and weaknesses and your wellbeing aims and objectives, all in a safe and
relaxed environment. She hopes to create a community and real sense of
belonging at the studio.
“We see Studio iO as a hub for creative energy so why not use our
innovative space to share your talents? It is the perfect creative space to
host your summer weekend workshop, in yoga, Pilates, massage, meditation,
photography or music. Share knowledge and ideas with likeminded
individuals in a space that nurtures collaboration and connection.”
She also runs a sister company, MyEscape with her business partner Ellie
Priest. Together, they ofer Yoga in the Sky on British Airways i360, and yoga
retreats in the UK and abroad.
Studio iO is fully equipped with beautiful mats, bolsters, candles, gong
and singing bowls, difusers and lavender scented eye pillows. The visual
aspect from the skylights allows students to experience the perfect opening
and closing to a day with calm blue skies during the day, or gaze at stars
in savasana during the evening sessions. It’s an intimate environment ideal
for one-on-one or group sessions, helping those who attend achieve true
relaxation and inner contentment.
