OM Yoga Magazine – April 2019

OM Magazine

Issue 95, April 2019

Welcome to our amazing April issue. With the
summer approaching and the days lengthening,
this month we are highlighting some of the
many incredible yoga retreats and holidays out
there (not that we’re counting the days till the
summer hols, of course, we live each and every
precious moment fully here at OM HQ!).
Take your pick from lazy days at a local
manor house or jet of to an exotic paradise far
away. We’ve got everything from A to Z (that’s
Arundel to Zambia), so you’re spoilt for choice. Thirty fab retreats
spanning virtually every continent.
If you’re new to yoga and you’ve never been on a retreat before
there are plenty of reasons why you might want to consider it. As well
as stretching out on the mat each blissful day, you’ll feast on ine,
nourishing food, spend time exploring and chilling and hang out with
beautiful, like-minded souls like yourself. And, typically, it all takes place
in an achingly beautiful setting, so great for a few Insta posts too!
You’ll return home feeling like a new, upgraded version of yourself.
Which is what this yoga thing is all about: giving yourself the time and
space to reconnect and recharge, ready once more to take on the
world and shine your light where it is needed.
As well as dreamy yoga retreats, we’ve got lots of other great
content inside, from yoga sequences, poses and anatomy, to
interviews with some fascinating characters. If it’s inspiration you’re
looking for to carry you through the coming month then OM is
the place to be. We’ve also got a preview of the OM Yoga Show in
Manchester coming up next month (on May 11-12). Everything yoga
under one roof if you want to get inspired before the summer hols.
Remember, you are worth it: whether you’re heading to Manchester,
booking an exotic retreat, or just trying to make it to your local class
in the church hall this week, yoga will always reward you with its true
gifts. Take the time for yoga, take the time for you.
