The photo shows yogini Laura Daamen captured for this shot by
photographer Ralph de Vos. It’s a magical place for yoga: Ravensbos
Valkenburg, Limburg in the Netherlands. “A special place, it really
is,” she says. “This location is hidden in the deepest point of the
forest and hidden between two major rural plateaus where no human
activity can been seen or heard because of the unique location.”
The photo was taken in late summer and the light was spectacular
through the tree canopy. “You could feel the quietness and tranquillity
there. A nice place to seek rest and silence and practice yin yoga in
optima forma.”
