This sumptuous yoga retreat will complete
your summer with three nights of R&R in
the heart of the British countryside. The
farmhouse has six beautifully-appointed
en-suite bedrooms and extensive walled
gardens and orchards. Delicious and
fragrant healthy vegetarian food lovingly
prepared with local ingredients. There are
two yoga classes a day (taught by the two
instructors, Akhil and Sara) and a swimming
pool and sauna for your use whenever
you choose. The yoga sessions provide a
range of styles and a variety of exercise
and mind-body techniques. The hosts value
the deeper psychological and spiritual
elements of yogic philosophy and they have
included breathing techniques (pranayama),
relaxation techniques (yoga nidra and
meditation) as well as talks about other
elements of yoga. This retreat is perfect for
singles or couples, yoga novices or those

The surrounding area of Dorset is well-
known as an Area of Outstanding Natural
Beauty, with spectacular countryside walks
punctuated by the occasional Iron Fort. One
key walking route here winds through quiet
villages, passing rural churches, and ofering
extensive views over the rolling downs and
secret valleys that make Dorset so special.
Not to mention the cream tea you’ll enjoy
at the end of the walk! There’s also optional
horse riding and cycling or spend your free
afternoon being pampered at the nearby
holistic therapy centre which ofers the
complete range of body treatments and
massage techniques from Swedish to Thai,
Tui Na and Deep Tissue, all in the setting of
a beautiful farmhouse estate.Information
