Italeri 1:48 Tornado GR.1/IDS 'Gulf War'
Never noted as an easy build, the Italeri Tornado is back out with a
'Super-decal' makeover to offer six marking options including two
RAF and one Italian version from the 1991 Gulf War. As well as the
renowned fit issues the kit suffers some soft detail where the 90's
tooling shows it's age, because of this there's plenty of aftermarket
upgrades on offer. The design of the fuselage parts would be
ambitious for even the best manufacturers with modern tooling

technology so be prepared for a little filler work to get the best from
this kit. As with many of these re-boxes by Italeri the decals are a
highlight, this huge sheet is beautifully produced with great finesse
including full markings for the big selection of ordnance. Probably
not coincidence that this kit is re-released just at the Tornados
retirement from service.
