Karenina Sidney of Conroe, Texas, collected fabrics two years
ago to make Wizard’s Chest* (Quick Quilts June/July 2017).
The quilt top took longer than anticipated to piece, however,
combined with her sister Karla’s quilting, it was worth the wait!

Theresa Kosmider of Alger, Michigan, made Star Light, Star
Bright* (Quick Quilts April/May 2017) for a friend who was
recently diagnosed with serious health issues. This pattern
eliminated Theresa’s fear of y-seams, which are typically used
in Le Moyne Star patterns, by using easy half-square triangles.
Theresa also chose to use bright, cheery colors for her dear
friend!

Glenda Du Bois of Brentwood, California, enjoyed
Cartwheels* (Quick Quilts August/September 2016) so much,
that she made a full quilt and a wall hanging from the pattern.
The quilt was machine quilted by Donna Weed. As soon as
Glenda’s husband saw the quilt fi nished, he said that quilt
wasn’t leaving their house! The wall hanging will be donated
to the church raffl e.

Dolores Graham of Lowndesville, South Carolina, used a
jellyroll to make Tuscan Vintage* (Quick Quilts August/
September 2018) for her grandaughter Taylor as a Christmas
gift. Taylor was smitten with the color palette as it was just what
she hoped for!
