My favorite sweater’s dirty,
I lost my favorite blouse.
I left my favorite jacket
At my friend Anita’s house.
My favorite pair of blue jeans
Has a knee that needs a patch.
I have a pair of mittens,
But the mittens do not match.
My favorite shoes are soggy,
My favorite socks have fled.
Today’s an awful day for clothes—
I’m going back to bed!
