simple knot. Once you learn to make
one, you won’t be able to stop!

What You’ll Need:
embroidery floss ruler
scissors tape

What to Do:

1. Choose five
   colors of
   embroidery
   f loss and cut a
   two-foot string
   of each. Tie the
   strings together about
   three inches from one end.
   Tape the strings to a table
   just above the knot.


2. Pick your first color
   and move that
   string to the left.
   Cross the end
   of the string over
   the rest of the
   colors, so it looks
   like the number “4.”


3. Loop the end
   of the string
   under the
   other colors
   and through
   the middle
   of the “4.”
