rom this month in SAMI,

you now get two editors

for the price of one – or

as David eloquently said – ‘buy

one – get one free’, and I am

assuming I’m the ‘get one free’!

Or if you want to put it in today’s

tech-speak, this is SAMI 2.0!

One of the things that we

have been working on recently

has been how we not only

deliver the best content in our

magazines, but also the best

reader experience. Without

question, David has done wonders

with SAMI since he took over

the reins, and long may that

continue, however, David has

other strings to his bow and to

that end we at SAM Publications

were keen to utilise these

attributes to the best advantage.

So, David will now be dividing

his time between working at our

head oice and editing SAMI.

Obviously, this will eat into

his available time to edit the

magazine, so I have come on-

board to work on the magazine

alongside David, thus freeing

him up to work on his new

role. For me, its and exciting

prospect, as David and I are

not only good friends, but we

both share a common goal

of not only bringing you the

best modelling and reference

articles but also all the latest

news, reviews and previews.

In one of his irst editorials,

David said the magazine

would focus on ‘evolution not

revolution’ and that’s how I feel

about the way forward. So, both

David and I look forward to your

company, and what better way

to start than with this month’s

dynamic ‘Tankbusters’ cover

with builds of the Su-25UTG

and the irrepressible A-

‘Warthog’ inside. So, with that

in mind, let’s get started!
