Nothing new on display at the

Zvezda stand in Nuremberg,

but we have been given some

information on the new products

for the next year. Most of the

new tool products concentrate

on new aircraft from the Russian

aviation industry including the

Sukhoi Su-30m and the Su-57

as well as the Irkut Mc-21 and

if the latter does not have you

googling, very well done.

Revell

Last year there

were some major

changes at Revell

Germany including

the acquisition of

the tooling from the

former Revell (USA)

and Monogram

Company following

the liquidation

of their owners.

This means that

in future we may

see the reissue of

some classic kits

and there are a

few announced in the 2019

release schedule most in the

car part of the catalogue.

But the 1/32 Revell Bell X-1

and former Monogram B-1B

Lancer all make welcome

reappearances in the 2019

release schedule. There is also

a large number of reboxing’s

from other manufacturers

tooling’s including ICM, Italeri

Zvezda, Hasegawa and Dragon.

There are only three totally

new tool announcements

starting with the delayed

F/-18E Super Hornet which

will be released in February

2019 this will be followed by

new tool 1/144 scale Airbus

A-302 and A-321 Neo airliners.

We will also be treated to

two new versions of the 1/32

Messerschmitt 262 which will

be released as a single seat

A-1, while the 1/32 Focke Wulf

Fw-190 will have new parts

added to produce the heavily

armoured A-8 Sturmbock.
