4 Rotateintoposition

3 Remove unwanted section
Choose ‘Edit’ > Invert Selection to
select everything outside the section you
wish to keep, then press [Delete] to remove
it. If your selection isn’t pixel-perfect, press
[Ctrl] + [Z] twice, refine your selection further
and then try again.

Apologies for the

misunderstanding, Keith

• thankfully, there are
  100-percent-free alternatives to
  GlassWire, which also offer a more
  user-friendly approach to filtering
  outgoing network traffic using the
  built-in Windows Firewall. The best
  known is Windows Firewall Control,
  which was recently obtained by
  Malwarebytes. You can download
  the app at http://www.binisoft.org/wfc.
  Once you’ve installed Windows
  Firewall Control, we recommend
  switching to Medium Filtering via
  the Profile section, but only after
  enabling Learning Mode via
  Notifications, so that all trusted
  digitally signed apps are
  automatically whitelisted.

  notification the first time they
  attempt to connect – if one does

Have you installed the

‘binary component’,

which adds extra

functionality to the LastPass

plug-in, such as easily copying and

pasting usernames and passwords?

Firstly, check that the binary

component hasn’t already been

installed: click the LastPass icon and

choose More Options > About

LastPass. If it reads Binary

Component: false click the Install

Binary Component button to

download and install the LastPass

Universal Installer – once that’s

done, close and reopen Firefox, log

back in and you’ll open access to

those additional features.

If you’re still unhappy with the

way the LastPass extension works,

but don’t want to switch your web

browser, we suggest that you try

Bitwarden (www.bitwarden.com)

instead. It has the same core

functionality as LastPass and

works on as many devices, but

Bitwarden’s Firefox plug-in is far

superior to the one offered by

LastPass. You can transfer all your

existing passwords, forms and

credit card information across, too –
