G-BOUM Piper PA-34-200T Seneca II (34-7670136). Made a landing
at Cascais, Portugal (LPCS) 02.07.19 with the nose landing
gear still retracted. Damage reported as minor.
G-CHSY Aeroprakt A22-LS Foxbat (A22LS-140). Crashed on take-
off at Otherton 16.07.19. Both persons on board were
injured and the aircraft sustained substantial damage to
the wings and landing gear (from a report on the itv.com/
news website).
G-CIRP Aeropro EuroFOX 912(S) (46015). Veered to the right on
take-off at Clench Common 24.10.18 and struck a fence
post and wire at the side of the runway. Minor damage to
propeller, fuselage and landing gear
G-CKTF Van’s RV-6A (24431). While vacating the runway and
turning left after landing at Stapleford 31.03.19 the nose
landing gear dug into soft ground and failed. The aircraft
tipped onto its nose and the left wing tip and the
propeller struck the ground. Damage to nose landing gear
and propeller, and engine possibly shockloaded.
G-ELVN Van’s RV-7A (73573). Struck a bird as it was about to land
at Manor Farm, Drayton St Leonard 21.05.19. The aircraft
bounced on landing, then touched down heavily and the
nose landing gear collapsed. Damage to the propeller and
nose landing gear, and engine shock-loaded.
G-GFCB Piper PA-28-161 Cadet (2841101). Made a forced landing
in a cornfield at Sheepway, near Portbury, Somerset
25.07.19. The nose landing gear collapsed and the engine
cowling and propeller were damaged (report on the
bristolpost.co.uk/news website).
G-MGPX Kolb Twinstar Mk.111 Xtra (PFA 205-14701). Veered to the
left on take-off at Baker Barracks, Thorney Island 03.02.
and struck a wooden fence post at the side of the runway.
Damage to fuselage and wing.
G-MNBI Solar Wings Pegasus XL-R (T8841161XL). Collided with
electricity cables and crashed in a field at Rathcash, nr
Gowran Cross, Co Kilkenny, RoI 28.06.19. The pilot was
killed (report from Irish Air Letter with thanks to Antoin
Daltun).
G-MZEL Cyclone AX3/503 (7250). Landed heavily at Causeway
19.01.19, bounced back into the air in a nose-up attitude,
then pitched down and struck the runway nose-down.
Both persons on board were seriously injured and the
aircraft sustained severe damage to the nose and cockpit
area.
G-OCLC Aviat A-1B Husky (2380). Veered off the runway on take-
off at Asiago, Italy (LIDA) 13.07.19, went on to the grass
and the main landing gear collapsed. Additional damage
to the propeller and fuselage underside (from a report on
the vicenzatoday.it website).
G-SACL Tecnam P2006T (152). While taxying at Redhill 17.03.
the left wing struck a generator at the edge of the apron.
Damage to the nose, left wing and left engine cowling.
G-SJES Evektor EV-97 teamEurostar UK (2007-2918). Crashed in a
wooded area at Pre-la-Font, Larche, Alpes-de-Haute-
Provence 24.07.19 while on a flight from Barcelonnette
Saint-Pons, France (LFMR) to Castelnuovo don Bosco
(LILF). Both persons on board were killed. This aircraft
was part of a group of four, including Taylor JT.
Monoplane G-AWGZ – see above (French BEA report).
G-TOMJ Flight Design CT2K (7925). Control was lost on landing at
Sackville Lodge Farm, Riseley 17.02.19. The aircraft rolled
to the right and the right wing tip struck the ground. The
aircraft then ground looped to the left and came to a halt.
Damage to the nose landing gear and right wing tip.
G-TPWL P&M Quik GT450 (8187). Veered to the right on landing at
Ashcroft 12.05.19 and touched down in long grass. The
aircraft tipped forward and rolled over onto its right side.
