    Air Transat has again made service changes for its planned Airbus A310
    scheduled operation for summer 2020 season, which sees overall last
    flight moved forward to 27Apr20, instead of 01May20. As of 05Jul19,
    Air Transat’s last A310 operation for individual routes in late March and
    April 2020 are as follows. Additional changes remain highly possible!

Air Zimbabwe [Zimbabwe] has proposed reviewing its landing rights,
particularly for Victoria Falls, which may result in all international
flights into the country being rerouted to Harare. The carrier is looking
to set up the RGM airport as a regional hub.
The carrier is seeking permission to auction some of its old aircraft
so that at least something can be salvaged from the fleet which is
lying idle.
Air Zimbabwe is involved in a dispute with South Jet One (UK) over
the ownership of two A320s which the state entity claims it was given
as a donation in 2013.

AirAsia [AK/AXM] [Malaysia] has announced the disposal to AS Air
Lease 8 (Offshore) LP of its entire equity interest in Merah Aviation
Asset Holding Three (Ireland), which holds five aircraft assets – this
was completed with the carrier receiving US$97.7 million in gross
proceeds.
AirAsia founder Tony Fernandes says no to any involvement with
Malaysia Airlines as he is focused on growing the budget airline.
The carrier is to appeal against a court decision to dismiss the case
filed by Malaysia Airports and apply for a stay of execution. AirAsia was
ordered to pay US$9.8 million in overdue fees.

AirAsia India [I5/IAD] [India] plans to take its fleet strength to 30 by
end of 2019 from the current 21 as it looks to expand its domestic
network. The nine A320s will be leased.

Air Peace [P4/APK] [Nigeria] has appointed seven new directors as
part of efforts to give the airline a strong base and an upward
trajectory.

Air Premia [South Korea] proposes to fly from Seoul to Los Angeles
with B789 from 2021.


Air Senegal [HC/SZN] [Senegal] plans to take delivery of its second
A330‑900neo, serial 1923, in September 2019. The aircraft will be
placed on flights to Paris and the US. An ex‑Iberia A319, registration
6V‑AMC, will also join the fleet in 3Q19.

Air Serbia [JU/ASL] [Serbia] will operate four additional aircraft in its
fleet during the peak summer period when compared to last year,
representing an increase of 20%.
The carrier has had its 2018 financial report sent back by regulators
due to “formal shortcomings” within the document.
Air Serbia is studying both ATR and Bombardier aircraft to replace
its six ATR72s, with its preference for the ATR aircraft.

Air Serbia has announced network expansion from Nis, with the
offering of 12 new routes. These were gradually launched in mid July
and early August 2019. The planned new routes are as follows:

Air Tahiti [VT/VTA] [Tahiti] and ATR have confirmed the order for two
ATR‑42‑600s, as the carrier continues to harmonise its regional fleet
around ATRs.


Air Tahiti Nui [TN/THT] [French Polynesia] reports net earning drop
of 86% in 2018 to US$2.7 million, with turnover of $322.7 million. It has
taken delivery of its third B787, which will help replace its A340 fleet.


Air Tanzania [TC/ATC] [Tanzania] will buy two new Airbus jets and
one aircraft from Bombardier Inc as part of a fleet expansion plan.


Air Timor [Timor] has signed an agreement with Air Travel (China) to
enable direct flights between Dili and Hong Kong and later to other
airports in the region.


Air Transat [TS/TSC] [Canada] has received an alternative takeover
offer from Groupe Mach, a Montreal real estate developer, of C$14 per
share, C$1 more than offered by Air Canada.
The carrier is to launch a seasonal triangle route from Vancouver to
San Jose to Liberia on 18Dec19. with the A321LR.
Air Transat has adjusted Airbus A321neo LR operations from
Montreal, for Sun Destinations during the winter 2019/20 season.
