CargoLogicGermany [Germany] expects its AOC and redelivery of its
third B737‑400SF, serial 25775, in the next few months.

Cargolux [CV/CLX] [Luxembourg] estimates most of its B747‑400Fs
to be phased‑out by 2030, while the ‑8F will fly beyond 2040.
Replacement aircraft could potentially the B777X or A350.
Cargolux has restarted services to Santiago de Chile with B747F, as
part of its Luxembourg‑Viracopos‑Santiago‑Quito‑Bogota‑Aguadilla‑
Amsterdam‑Luxembourg routing.
The carrier launched a brand new service from Luxembourg to
Jakarta on 23Jun19 with B747‑400ERF.
Cargolux Italia launched a new routing between Milan Malpensa
and Seoul Incheon on 16Jul19 with B747.

Caribbean Airlines [Trinidad] announced the proposed start of
services to Curacao, on 02Aug19.
The airline has made no decision yet on its contract with Boeing for
12 new B737 MAX 8s to replace and upgrade the state carrier’s existing
fleet. The airline is awaiting clearance from safety regulators first.
Caribbean Airlines Cargo has entered into an interline agreement
with Alaska Airlines (US), which expands the airline’s cargo network by
a further 16 destinations.

Cathay Pacific [CX/CPA] [Hong Kong] and Lufthansa Group carriers
have expanded their codeshare partnership, covering services
between Hong Kong and Europe. From 17Jul19, new codeshare routes
include the following:

Cebu Pacific is adding Airbus A320neo aircraft on international
routes, operating to/from Cebu. The A320neo will replace the current
A320ceo.

    varies in August 2019, 7 weekly from 29Aug19)

  • Cebu – Tokyo Narita eff 27Jul19: 1 daily


Cemair [South Africa] aims to resume operations in July 2019, flying
between OR Tambo International and Margate Airport in cooperation
with Airlink (South Africa).

Chair Airlines [Switzerland] is officially launched as the successor to
Germania Flug. The airline is still retaining the same strategic
positioning and fleet of three A319s, while management team now
consists of CEO Tobias Somandin, CCO and Supervisory Board member
Urs Pelizzoni, and Anri Fontanive as CFO.

Cham Wings [Syria] launched a service from Damascus to Muscat on
27May19.

China Airlines has gradually updated planned its winter 2019/20
operation, effective from 27Oct19. Planned changes include the
following:

  • San Jose CA – Reno, Seattle – Bozeman, Seattle – Eugene, Seattle –

British Airways has also expanded its codeshare partnership with
Loganair, including the latter’s services to Norway. Approximately from

Buddha Air [U4/BHA] [Nepal] plans to fly to key Indian cities from
Tribhuvan International Airport by August 2020 after leasing two
narrowbody jets. The carrier also plans to add two jets by August 2021
and begin operations from the upcoming international airport in
Pokhara.

Bulgaria Air plans to expand its codeshare partnership with Alitalia,
covering four additional routes via Rome. The new codeshare routes
are scheduled to commence on 27Oct19.

end of 2019. The carrier may add two ATRs to ensure better
connectivity between the islands.
Cabo Verde Airlines has filed an application in Brazil to fly from Sal
to Porto Alegre on 12Dec19 with a B757‑200.

Camair Co [Cameroon] has received US$10.2 million from the
government in multiple tranches to cover operational needs and
debts. Camair‑Co took delivery of one B737‑500, serial 28475, to help
resume flights on its regional network.


Canadian North [Canada] has finalised its merger with First Air and
the First Air name will disappear.


Cambodia Angkor Air [Cambodia]

Cargo Air Lines, currently an all‑cargo airline, is planning to start
passenger services using Boeing 737‑300 aircraft. Hiring of air crews
has begun, but no details were published regarding destinations, and
whether the airline will operate as a low‑cost or charter operator.
