Emirates has expanded its codeshare partnership with JetBlue,
covering various routes to Mexico, Caribbean and Latin America. The
new codeshare routes include the following:

Enter Air [E4/ENT] [Poland] has completed the acquisition of a 49%
stake in Germania Flug (Switzerland) from Albex Aviation (Switzerland).
It plans to exercise its option to acquire a majority 80% stake in Chair
Airlines (Switzerland), up from its current 49.9% stake.

Envoy Air [US] has expanded its TrueChoice service agreement with
GE Aviation (US) to cover its entire fleet of CF34‑8E engines that power
the 84 E175s that are currently in service and on order. The total
contract is valued at more than US$1 billion over the life of the
agreement.

Ernest [EG/ERN] [Italy] has signed a codeshare agreement with
Pobeda (Russia), connecting the two networks. The carrier will open a
base in Kyiv and plans to invest US$100 million with the placement of
two planes there.

Estelar Latinoamerica [E4/ETR] [Colombia] has obtained permission
for non‑scheduled flights between Peru and Venezuela.
The company has wet leased an A380 from Hifly Malta as its A340
undergoes maintenance. Estelar plans to operate the jet from Caracas
to Europe and South America.

Ethiopian Cargo has connected Chongqing with Africa and South

EC Plus Airline [Ecuador] has applied for permission to operate
scheduled domestic flights with B737‑700 aircraft, based out of Eloy
Alfaro International Airport. The startup has also requested to operate
transborder routes. EC Plus plans to purchase a B767‑300 to fly from
Ecuador to Fort Lauderdale, New York, Lima, and Bogota.

EgyptAir [MS/MSR] [Egypt] plans a complete takeover of Air Cairo,
acquiring the remaining 40% from domestic banks. EgyptAir will use
the carrier to ramp up its leisure flights to Europe, as it looks to expand
is international aircraft as 12 aircraft arrive by March 2020.
Egyptair is commencing weekly A220‑300 operations from Cairo to
Aswan on 06Sep19 and Luxor nine‑weekly on the same day; services
from Cairo to Sharm el Sheikh started on 08Jun19.
