by Thomas Cook Scandinavia on 7th July. It returned on 10th July then
flew to East Midlands on 12th July for use by Thomas Cook (UK),
returning on the 14th.
Piper PA-32R-301T G-UNAC visited Airtime Aviation from 30th May
to 20th June, and SNJ-7C Texan G-BRVG departed on 6th June in its
Quattro livery. Test flown on the 8th June was long term stored Piper
PA-46-350P JetProp DLX N461VF. It was only airborne for five minutes
& kept the wheels down all the time – probably as it has not flown
since arriving as N469CC on 20th January 2017. Piper PA-28-
G-BPDT arrived on 13th June for painting while Piper PA-30-160 N7EY
departed on 16th June. Piper PA-46-350P JetProp DLX HS-TOM visited
a few times in 2011 though it has not been here for a while but was
back from 15th to 24th June before departing to Lelystad. Beech U-8F
N911CS arrived on 24th June for work. Luscombe 8E N575DW has been
very active from Airtime Aviation recently, so may have found a new
owner. Piper PA-28-181 G-BHZE finally departed on 2nd July, having
arrived on 26th March for a supposed two-month stay. Piper
PA-28R-201 G-IBFW arrived on 2nd July, while Piper PA-46-500TP
N32CK was outside for engine runs on 10th July, though its arrival date
is unknown.
Gama Aviation had British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-BYGD in from
31st May to 15th June. Arriving on 6th June was BN-2T Islander G-BIIO
in yellow primer. BN-2T Islander G-BJED flew numerous flights
throughout the month, while sister-ship G-BJOH was active daily from
22nd June using callsign “Bobcat 18”. On the 11th June BN-2T Islanders
G-BIIO, G-BJED, G-BJOH & G-BSAH all changed owner to Gama Aviation,
having reportedly been acquired for a new contract, so they are now
based rather than just on extended maintenance. Commander 690C
N940AC was registered G-LEGZ last month but was outside the hangar
on 31st May still with the US marks taped on over the British marks.
BAE Systems swapped their Beech 250s with M-CDMS departing on
12th June, M-CDJC here from 12th to 28th June & M-LENR arrived on
28th June & departed again on 5th July, with sister-ship M-CDBM
arriving the same day. Global Express 2-JFJC departed on 13th June but
was back on 16th June, while sister-ship M-EDZE was here from 17th to
21st June. Global 5000 M-JSMN and Global Express XRS VP-CYT were
both test flown again on 25th June, which suggests they are possibly
stored here. Slightly smaller in size, Piper PA-32R-301 G-ELLA was
outside the hangar on 20th June for engine runs. Its arrival date is
unknown but it departed to White Waltham on 25th June. Long termer
Challenger 604 G-RCAV was re-registered G-DAYA on 26th June but has
yet to emerge from the hangar as such. Challenger 605 A6-SAJ arrived
on 6th July while Global Express 2-JFJC was re-registered 9H-AYS early
in July and was first seen outside as such on the 9th, before departing
on the 12th. Beech B200 G-PCOP was noted here mid July.
At Bournemouth Aviation Services Pilatus PC-12 F-GJFG departed
on 2nd June, while PC-12 OH-MUG departed on 6th June and PC-
OH-JRJ was here between the 5th and 21st June.
Jetworks had Falcon 2000LX VQ-BIJ in from 10th to 14th June while
Falcon 2000EX N542AP was here on 15th June, so has not yet taken up
its reserved marks N542ZP. The second Honda HA420 to use
registration N542MP made its first visit here on 24th June. Regular
Falcon 50EX visitor M-CICO was in from 23rd to 27th June.
Thurston Aviation had Falcon 900LX M-AGIK in from 16th to 21st
June, while Challenger 604 M-JSTA was here from 19th to 22nd June.

525 G-KION is now wearing its UK marks, and Cessna 525 N680KH was
still present after its winglets problems. Cessna 680 SE-RFH arrived on
7th July.
L3 CTS received Diamond DA40 G-CTSM on 30th May & it is now
resident while DA 40 G-CTSX also arrived on 30th May from Ponte de
Sor, Portugal, but did not become active on local training flights until
14th June. Of the new Piper PA-28-181s, G-LCTB routed Coventry to
Dinard on 26th June on its way to Portugal, while sister-ship G-LCTA
has already been photographed at Ponte de Sor, so both seem to be
based there.
Alto Aerospace’s Beech 200 N13CZ made its first flight in many
months on 21st June when it flew to Birmingham & back.

European Aviation had ASL Airlines Hungary Boeing 737-4Y0(SF)
HA-KAD in for maintenance from 31st May to 3rd June. Of the Airbus
