National Airlines [US] is undertaking a fleet expansion with the
addition of three more B747‑BCFs. The ex‑Cathay aircraft will deliver
in August 2019, 4Q19 and 2Q20. For the passenger side, the airline will
replace its two B757s with A330s by late 2020.

Nauru Airlines [ON/RON] [Nauru] is to wet lease a B737‑300 to Real
Tonga for flights from Tonga to Fiji and New Zealand. The airlines are
also working collaboratively towards implementing a closer long‑term
alliance.

Nepal Airlines [RA/RNA] [Nepal] says that due to a cash flow
problem, it will be unable to pay back a US$217 million loan used to
acquire two A330s. The carrier is seeking financial support from
Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.
The airline is to auction off its remaining B757 and spare parts, as
it moves an all‑Airbus fleet. The minimum sale price is US$7.8 million
for serial 23863.
Nepal Airlines’ turnaround plan includes capital restructuring and
inducting a strategic partner, says the government, who rescheduled
the interest payment deadline for its loans taken from state‑owned
financial institutions. Currently, it owes US$366 million to various
institutions.

Nordica [EE/EST] [Estonia] may write off a US$8.7 million loan to
Adria Airways (Slovenia) as it is unlikely to be paid off.
The carrier has reached an agreement with LOT Polish Airlines to
invest in the joint venture, Regional Jet (Estonia).

NordStar Airlines [Russia] planned Moscow Domodedovo –
Krasnoyarsk – Shijiazhuang services, with a B737‑800, from 16May19.
The airline has launched line maintenance stations at its base airports
at Krasnoyarsk and Norilsk, mainly to service its own fleet.

Norwegian [DY/NAX] [Norway] chief executive Bjorn Kjos says there
are “several parties” interested in buying the carrier.
Norwegian plans to launch operations out of Santiago by the end
of 2019, with flights to Argentina, Brazil, Madrid, and later Miami.
The carrier will drop its seasonal route from London Gatwick to Las
Vegas following a “comprehensive review of the route” as well as its
Stockholm – Orland service.
Norwegian will have liquidity problems, says Danske Bank
Markets(Denmark), which may possibly force the airline to raise new

Maleth Aero [Malta] will lease its A340‑300 to Surinam Airways to
operate on flights from Amsterdam to Paramaribo.
The carrier has been awarded a foreign air carrier permit from US
regulators.

Malindo Air has announced service changes for flights to Japan
between August 2019 and October 2019. The planned changes are as
follows:



  • Kuala Lumpur – Taipei Taoyuan – Sapporo New Chitose eff
    01Aug19: Reduce from 5 to 3 weekly (Planned increase from 3 to 5
    weekly is now scheduled for the month of July 2019 only)

  • Kuala Lumpur – Taipei Taoyuan – Sendai eff 02Aug19: Planned 2
    weekly service removed
    Overall service for Kuala Lumpur – Taipei Taoyuan sector remains
    unchanged at seven weekly.


Malta Air [Malta] has taken delivery of one B737‑800, serial 44782,
the first to be transferred to the airline by parent Ryanair (Ireland).

MASkargo [Malaysia] relaunched its freighter flights between Kuala
Lumpur and Guangzhou from 04Jun19 until December 2019 with an

Medavia [Malta] plans to add scheduled flying and increase its

MIAT Mongolian Airlines [OM/MGL] [Mongolia] plans to launch direct
flights to the USA in 2021 with new aircraft, pending the country’s FAA
Category 1 rating.


Middle East Airlines [ME/MEA] [Lebanon] has signed a firm order for
four A321XLRs, making it the launch airline customer.


Montenegro Airlines [YM/MGX] [Montenegro] will be restructured in
2019‑20 and potentially privatised, says the government, which plans
to invest another US$22.7 million in the airline as it adopts a new
strategy.
Montenegro Airlines wet‑leased an F100, serial 11369, from
Carpatair (Romania) until mid June 2019.


Motor Sich [M9/MSI] [Ukraine] resumed Kiev Igor Sikorsky‑Uzhorod
services twice daily on M, W & F from 05Jun19, using a Yak‑40.


My Indo Airlines [Indonesia] has added its first B737‑400F. The fleet
now includes four B737Fs.
