SELBY HOUSE FARM, STANTON, NORTHUMBERLAND – Like Athey’s
Moor above a number of new residents were noted on 21st June, again
mainly from Eshott. They are Gemini/Flashes G-MTZY (Permit to Fly
expired 25th June 2016) & G-MVPA, Escapade G-SCPD and Pegasus
Quik G-YSMO.

SHANKLIN, ISLE OF WIGHT – Rallye Club G-BIRB (cancelled by CAA
13th July 1992), which was on the roof of Jungle Jim’s amusement
arcade here, apparently perished during the winter of 2017/2018 and
has been scrapped.

LS6 G-CHHH ‘963’ is now resident with a local owner. Also present was

stored on an open trailer.
Reported here on 3rd July during the Regional Competitions (29th
June to 7th July) was Glasflügel 304 eS Shark G-CLTA wearing
Competition identity R2B (and not 141). In a small hangar/workshop

noted negotiating the roundabout (the wrong way round!!) at the Air
Balloon pub at Crickley Hill on the A417. It was subsequently reported
in Poland, still on the low loader. It was previously parted out at
Cotswold after being used for rescue training there for a while.

SANDOWN, ISLE OF WIGHT – In addition to the fuselage of Bulldog
G-CCOA (cancelled as PWFU 11th June 2002, marked as G-AXEH) in their
hangar, the Wight Aviation Museum has recently acquired Cushioncraft
CC-7 XX102, which was parked outside on 22nd June. In the next
hangar were a Jet Provost cockpit simulator (said to have been
acquired from Charterhouse) and a Tornado ADV procedures trainer,
both sheeted over. The Museum is also trying to acquire the unique
Levi Go-Plane G-BCMF (cancelled by the CAA 5th December 1983),
which was re-discovered at Mr Levi’s house back in 2015. Apparently Mr
Levi has since died but the aircraft is still believed to be there,
dismantled in an outside shed.

sale.
