N4393V has been re‑registered as G‑CLIR to the Ulster Seaplane
Association.

CITY OF DERRY, CO. LONDONDERRY – Leased SAAB 340B ES‑NBC first
appeared on the Loganair Glasgow service on 6th June and then many
times thereafter.

On the 8th Beech AT‑11 N15KK [4000] arrived from Reykjavik and
departed to Turweston, en route to Schwäbisch Hall, Germany. Also on
the 8th Cirrus SF50 N735LA arrived from Luxembourg and departed to
Reykjavik en route to Quebec City.
On 12th July two Piper PA‑28‑181s destined for L3 CTS passed
through from Keflavik to Coventry. They were N7118Z [2881168] and
N7119J [2881169].


WALES


HAWARDEN, FLINTSHIRE – Cessna 525A 2‑GOLF is confirmed as
based here.


LLANBEDR, GWYNEDD – Snowdonia Flight School are operating Robin
DR400s G‑BBAY and G‑HXTD from here. They also have FLS Sprint G‑BVNU.
Also noted resident on 3rd July were ARV‑1 G‑BSRK, Menestrel G‑CCDS
(this was recently sold to a new owner in Hexham, Northumberland but it
was still present here on 3rd July) and SZD‑45A Ogar G‑OGAR.


ST. ATHAN, S. GLAMORGAN – New with the South Wales Aircraft
Museum is Sea Harrier F/A.2 ZA195. It arrived on 3rd July from
Tangmere Military Aviation Museum, where it was previously on loan.
Also arriving recently, on 1st July, was the wrecked cockpit section of
MiG‑29 526 [2960525887] which was written off in a mid‑air collision
with sister‑ship 925 at RAF Fairford on 24th July 1993. It has come
from the Fenland & West Norfolk Aviation Museum at West Walton
Highway. The stripped and unmarked fuselage of former Royal
Malaysian Air Force Bulldog 102 M25‑04 arrived from Cotswold on 30th
June on loan from owner Richard Tregear. DHA‑3 Drover G‑APXX
(cancelled as PWFU 26th November 1973) has also been transferred to
the Museum from outside the Horizon hangar during June.
Another former Germania Airbus A319‑112, D‑ASTZ, flew in from
Prague on 2nd July for parting out by eCube solutions.
Aero L‑39 G‑JMGP (Permit to Fly expired 18th April 2018, arrived by
road from France 17th December 2018) remains stored here as is the
rear fuselage of Hunter T.8M G‑BWFT (Permit expired 23rd July 1999,
marked as XL602).


OLD PARK FARM, MARGAM, NEATH PORT TALBOT – A visit on 13th July
revealed a number of unrecorded residents and even more hangars
went unchecked as they were locked. They include Pegasus Quik G‑CCAD,
Van’s RV‑12 G‑CGVD, Skyrangers G‑FLDG & G‑JAYS (BIR2019 shows the
base for the previous owner!), Pegasus Quantums G‑MYSW (Permit
expired 14th May 2015] & G‑MZBY, Mainair Mercury G‑MYUD (Permit
expired 30th July 2017), Thruster T600N G‑OHYE and Evans VP‑2 G‑RASC
(Permit expired 14th December 2006). Stored at the back of one hangar
was Shadow CD G‑MVRP which was cancelled by CAA 1st July 2013 after
the Permit expired 21st May 2013. Also noted was Skyranger Swift
G‑HODR. The owner/builder lives and works in Antequera, Southern
Spain and the kit was delivered there in September 2017. It was roaded
hre from Spain post‑Easter 2018 for final inspection and test‑flying by
John Hunt; its permit was issued for 27th June 2019 to 24th August 2020.
It is planned to fly it back to Spain in August.


PEMBREY SANDS, CARMARTHENSHIRE – Jaguar GR.1B XX962, which
had been on the Pembrey Sands Air Weapons Range here since
February 2009, has been broken up and the nose section is now at RAF
Coningsby for restoration. It has been replaced on the range by GR.1
XX958 (previously with the DCAE at RAF Cosford).

ADARE MANOR, CO. LIMERICK – Noted living on a private helipad here
(as usual clearly visible of Google Maps) is Eurocopter EC135P2 VP‑BHC
[0989].
