EDITORIAL
The star item among the new registrations must be the Hawker
Typhoon, even if it is a well-known restoration project. Elsewhere there
are two Spitfires, one new to the register (G-SAEB) and one returning
(G-BSKP). Our thoughts on these three aircraft are included in ‘Register
Notes’. The CASA-built Jungmann G-ETOY also adds some vintage
interest but otherwise, July was a fairly quiet month for register
changes. The three IOM additions include two aircraft re-registered
from other IOM marks, including one from May 2019 which has
previously gone unreported in this section.
