Show on the
Gulf Coast
O
ne of the most anticipated shows of the year once
again rolled through Alabama at the historic USS
Alabama Battleship Memorial Park in Mobile. Billed
as the Premier Show on the Gulf Coast, it certainly
didn’t disappoint. Topping more than 1,0 00 full custom vehicles in
the spacious showgrounds, Battle in Bama presented by Ultimate
Audio Fabrication has grown steadfast in each of its four full years.
The co-title sponsors for 2019 were Metal Brothers, Sparkles Detail,
Direct Paintless Dent Repair, Steel Works Garage, Pro Performance
and Hazzard Motor Sports. Official Air Ride sponsor FLO was
on hand as well as Jason Thorbecke with ThorBros selling high-
quality air-ride components. C10s of the South chose Battle in
Bama to be their yearly meet as more than 50 high-end Chevy C10s
were front and center on Million Dollar Row, facing the battleship.
Special VIP tickets were given out for Friday night to enjoy
Tacos on the Battleship before the show kicks off sponsored
by Drop Em and Dragonfly Foodbar. Battle in Bama is a true
family atmosphere with tons of venders and custom awards
presented by Mike & Jerry’s Paint and Body. Entertainment was
provided both Saturday and Sunday by DJ Get Low and Toasta
with nonstop music and games like the cornhole competition
with cash prizes. Show promoter Craig Rowley wishes to thank
his amazing and hardworking staff for all their help as well as all
the supporters and truck owners that came to enjoy the fastest
