thefontin 1840 fromthesilversmiths
EdwardBarnardAndSons,aheadofthe
christeningofherdaughter,Princess
Victoria,onFebruary10,1841.Thefont
bowlisintheformofanopenflower
borderedwithwaterliliesandleaves.It
alsofeaturesthreecherubsatthebase.
TheonlyroyalbaptismthattheLilyFont
hasnotbeenusedforwasthatofPrincess
Eugenie,whohadapublicchristening.
ThefontispartoftheRoyalCollection
andiskeptattheJewelHouseatthe
TowerofLondonwhennotin use.
