Born and raised in Mumbai, Colston
Julian is a qualified cinematographer,
but has never had any professional
training as a photographer. “I’ve had
a very different journey,” he says. “My
heart was always in cinema, but it
was a series of events that led me to
photography. I promised myself that one
day I will return to film-making, which I
now have with a short film coming soon.
When he’s not shooting, Julian loves
jumping head first into adventure sports;
his next goal is to spend more time
riding his mountain bike.
In Stronger Than Ever, he turns his lens
on Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha

Mumbai-based Priti Mahajan is an
avid traveller and design fiend. She’s
travelled the globe but is always
planning her next big adventure. “I
am contemplating between Namibia
or Rwanda,” she says, of her next
voyage. “All of Africa is very close to
my heart. I love being in the middle
of nature and getting the chance to
witness wildlife up close.”

Phinda Homestead in South Africa

Ricardo Abrahao graduated in the field
of product design in Sao Paulo, but
found his love for photography sparked
during a backpacking trip through Asia
in 2010. When he’s not busy behind
the camera, Abrahao, now based in
Portugal, loves to cook. “I love going
to the fish and vegetable market by my
place in Cascais and coming back home
to prepare something delicious,” he says.

Madhuri Vijay was born in Bengaluru, where she
attended the Frank Anthony Public School. Her debut
novel is The Far Field, (HarperCollins), which follows the
journey of a young woman from Bengaluru to Kashmir.
Two Kashmiri authors she thinks everyone should read?
“Habba Khatoon and Malik Sajad,” she says.
In Paradise Lost, she writes on discovering unexpected
parallels between Kashmir and Hawaii, and how they
came to influence her book

Kaveree Bamzai is a senior
independent journalist. Her book,
No Regrets: The Guilt-Free Woman’s
Guide to a Happy Life (HarperCollins)
will be out soon. In her free time, she
enjoys “watching Fleabag, weeping
through reruns of Downton Abbey, and
dreaming of growing up to become
like Emma Thompson.”
