was Nita’s beautiful white bag, which caught everyone’s instant attention.
The Hermès Himalaya Birkin bag made of the skin of Himalaya
Niloticus crocodile is worth over Rs 2.6 crore. Interestingly, the price of
a bag is more than the cost of 2 BHK flat in metros. According to the
auction house, christies.com, Hermès Himalaya Birkin Bag is considered
the ‘Holy Grail in a Handbag’ collection. It has more than 240 diamonds
on its 18-karat-gold hardware. Back in 2017, the white Himalaya
crocodile diamond style bag fetched $379,261 at auction with Christie’s.
With the deal, it became the most expensive bag ever sold.

raised awareness. diCaprio who is a united nations messenger of
Peace with a special focus on climate change has been vocal about
the hazardous impacts of global warming and other environmental
issues. he shared a photograph of a dry well in Chennai on his
instagram profile. he wrote: “only rain can save Chennai from this
situation. A well, completely empty, and a city without water. the
southern indian city of Chennai is in crisis after the four main water
reservoirs ran dry.” the city has been on the edge battling acute
water shortage for the last few weeks as several reservoirs ran dry
largely because of poor monsoon rains last year.

wardrobe-sharing initiative, ‘Mi Wardrobe Su Wardrobe’
on World Environment Day. This closet sharing initiative is
conceptualised by Alia herself where fans can buy the outfits
straight from different celebrities’ personal closet on SaltScout.
com, an online platform for charity auctions and sales. On
this initiative Alia said, “Through MiSu, we’re trying to
increase awareness around reusing and recycling, to divert
clothing from landfills and help reduce waste.” Stars, especially
from Bollywood, are enthusiastically associating with Alia.
Her first guest wardrobe belongs to fellow eco-warrior
Anushka Sharma. Besides Anushka, Sonakshi Sinha has
also contributed some of her wardrobe items for Alia Bhatt’s
initiative. Sonakshi said: “It is a lovely idea and I was only too
happy to chip in with Alia and help do my bit. Each buyer gets
a garment that has sentimental value.”
