Crochet four stems, two consisting of 100 chain sts each and two
others 30 chains long.
Knot a blossom onto the longer stem, thread the free end through the
selvedge st at the end of the lace yarn, and knot another blossom to
the end of the stem. Knot a blossom onto one of the shorter stems
and thread the free end through the selvedge st.
Wrap the stem with a strip of cotton fabric (as explained on page 62),
adding woven jacquard ribbon into the roll towards the end, and
sew the completed roll onto the stem.
Make an identical second blossom arrangement and attach it to the
other edge of the shawl.
