Introduction
In this book, I would like to introduce you to my
passion for knitting, which has been nurtured by my
mom since I was very young. Expect uncommon knit
designs, richly embellished with ribbons, fabric, and
beads. Waiting for you, too, are crocheted and sewn
edgings and adornments, bound to become favorites!
Th e main idea is to adorn oneself with beauty and to
discover new creative ways. I want to inspire you to play
with color nuances and to explore the vast riches of your
fi ber treasure collection. Develop your very personal style
by combining antique little bits from Grandma’s sewing
basket with an array of contemporary materials.
Special thanks to my wonderful family for supporting
me in this endeavor: First of all to Felix for his cooking
magic, and to my parents, particularly my mom, ever
so full of ideas, as well as to my father-in-law with his
