Gauge

Scarf
Th is loop is worked fl at. For selvedge sts, ktbl fi rst st of row, slip last st of
row.
Using US 7 (4.5 mm) needles and lace weight yarn, cast on 70 sts.
Row 1 (RS): K1-tbl, [k2, p2] to last st, sl1.
Row 2 (WS): K1-tbl, [p2, k2] to last st, sl1.
Repeat Rows 1–2 until piece is 47 in./120 cm long.
Change to cotton thread and US 1.5 (2.5 mm) needles.
Row 1 (RS): K1-tbl, k to last st, sl1.
Row 2 (WS): K1-tbl, k3, p62, k3, sl1.
Repeat Rows 1–2 four times more for a total of 10 rows worked.
Row 11 (RS): K1-tbl, k3, p62, k3, sl1.
Row 12 (WS): K1-tbl, k to last st, sl1.
Row 13 (RS): Repeat Row 11.
Row 14 (WS): Repeat Row 11.
Rows 15–34: Repeat Rows 1–2 ten times more.

Finishing
Bind off all sts.
Sew woven ribbons onto gray section of scarf by hand.
Sew beginning and end of scarf together to form a loop.
