Prepare a strip of fabric twice as wide as the desired width of the
fi nished roll. Cut the fabric on the grain, preferably with a rotary
cutter on a cutting mat.
Fold the long sides of the prepared fabric strip toward the middle (as
you would for double-fold bias tape), and iron it well.
Open up the strip, place a narrow strip Bondaweb® inside, close the
strip again and iron over. Th is will make rolling much easier.
Position the material to be wrapped on the prepared fabric strip and
start rolling it tightly.
When the desired thickness has been reached, cut off the excess
fabric from the strip, fold the end over toward the inside and pin
in place. If desired, add in woven jacquard ribbon or decorative
ribbon with the last winding.
Seam using decorative stitches.
