DIY Pinwheels

Add Americana fl air to your home or garden

this summer with these fun homemade

pinwheels. This makes a great kids’ craft too!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Double-sided scrapbook paper


• Optional: paper cutter


• Scissors


• Double-sided tape


• Decorative tacks


• Skewers or straws

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

1. Cut the scrapbook paper into a square
   of your desired size.


2. Fold the square diagonally in each
   direction so the open paper shows an X.


3. With the scissors, cut each fold line
   halfway to the middle of the paper.
   Don’t cut all the way to the middle.


4. Fold down half of each corner so the
   folds meet in the middle and create the
   pinwheel shape. Use double-sided tape
   to secure the folds in place.


5. Add a decorative tack to the middle
   of the pinwheel, and secure it on the
   skewer or straw.
