hundredsofhomeseachmonthaswegathertogetheraneditof25.

Theprojectsthatwechoosetofeatureinourpagesveryintentionally

covera widerangeofsizesandstyles,buttheyalwayshaveonecrucial

thingincommon:theirownersarepassionatehomemakers.Someof

theprojectsevolvegradually,overyearsorevendecades;othershappen

ina matterofmonths,butallarecreatedwithbucketsofattentionand

affection.Andformethisis whatmakesthem‘dreamhousestoinspire’.

Thestoriesareofthecreativespiritswho,foronereasonoranother,fell

inlovewitha buildinganddecidedtomakeit theirown.Thisis thekey

toa successfulhome.SofiaHalprinandKimArdal’sapartmentis one
