The saguaro cactus grows in the hot, dry deserts of
Arizona,California, and Mexico.It grows very slowly.
If you stand next to a saguarocactus that is your age, it
willbe about as high as yourankle.
But the saguaro lives for so many yearsthat it may
grow to be very tall. It might be as tall as ten children
standing on top ofone another. It could also weigh as
