Materials
Exhaust systems can range in price due to the materials they are
made from. A pipe made from titanium and carbon fibre is usually
the most expensive while being the lightest. The downside is that
many of these exhaust systems are not very durable and can fall
apart from vibration or break in a crash.
A pipe made from stainless steel and aluminum is heavier but
more durable and robust. It can last longer and will not get
damaged too easily in a crash.
