Getting around
The Reports dashboard is where you
can see all your corralled data for the
day at a glance. Tap the top options to
view the previous day, week, or month,
or scroll down and tap the gear icon
to customise the display.2
View trends
The bottom of the dashboard also
gives you access to daily, weekly, and
monthly trends. If you link the app to
RescueTime (a time management app),
for instance, you can view your hourly
productivity levels plotted on a graph.3
Going places
If you give Gyroscope access to
your location data, the Places tab lets
you review where you’ve been on a map,
how long you stayed there, and how far
you walked, which is obviously based on
your activity stats.1
Find friends
Gyroscope’s social aspect lives in the
Friends tab, where you can optionally link
up with friends and colleagues, check
the leaderboard, share workouts, and
motivate each other with challenges.
(Accounts are private by default.)2
Get a report
Gyroscope generates daily, weekly,
and monthly reports which you can view
in the Latest tab. Report cards include
all your activity and hours online over a
given period. You get feedback here too,
such as suggesting to up your step count.3
Adjust Settings
Tap the cog icon in the top-right
corner of the Reports tab to change
privacy and interface settings, enter
data manually, sync more devices
and apps, and get more value from
things you’re already tracking.Gyroscope offers additional benefits to users who subscribe to the optional
paid service. Pro members can receive stress and overtraining alerts, as well
as access to DNA tracking, music, a complete history of reports, the ability to
set goals, track meditation and more. A Pro plan also unlocks advanced cards
and reports for tracking trends and correlations, and introduces heart rate
analysis, maps, web dashboards, and an overall health score. An upgrade to
