Beat down an evil baron in the
steampunk beauty Sparklite
Everyone likes a good hit of nostalgia,
and Zelda-inspired adventure Sparklite
is aiming to dose you up on just that
when it releases on 14 November.
You take on the role of Ada, a genius
engineer who crash-lands on the
world of Geodia. What starts as a
mission to repair her ship turns into
a quest to stop an evil Baron from
destroying the world.
Everything in the world is controlled
by precious Sparklite and the Baron
has started mining the world’s
resources for his own nefarious deeds.Using your multitool to craft a
variety of weapons, you’ll venture into
five procedurally generated biomes,
each containing dungeons to explore
and puzzles to solve. You’ll also battle
mutants and face down bosses like
the Baron’s Foremen.
With its gorgeous and colourful
art style, charming music and fun
gameplay, it looks sure to spark our
imaginations when it lands. QGet in gear, as Sparklite is set to
release this year on 14 November.
