We’re so over zombies. Over their heads, that is,
getting in a perfectly placed kick or two to their
rotting skulls as we parkour deftly across their
shambling shoulders! Dying Light is still one of our
favourite z-games, thanks to its wonderful parkour
mechanic. We have all the latest on its forthcoming
sequel Dying Light 2 on page 24 this month!
Streets Of Rage 4 is coming to Xbox One, and we
have news on Axel, Blaze and a brand-new playable
character on page 26! As fans of the epic Dragon
Ball saga, we can’t wait for the latest game featuring
Goku and his mates. Trust us when we say that
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is looking truly epic – read
all about it on page 28. Another classic game getting
a reboot is revered point-and click PC adventure
Beneath A Steel Sky. It’s been 25 years, can the
follow-up Beyond A Steel Sky (p30) live up to
expectations? We’ve also got news on a couple of
other welcome sequels, Kerbal Space Program 2
(p32) and Little Nightmares II (p33). Space shooter
Everspace showed real promise back in 2017, and
now we have the sequel Everspace 2. Find out
what’s in store, in space, on page 34! Finally, we take
a look at the latest grappler from 2K, which sees the
women of the WWE much more involved this year.

Chris’s pick
WWE2K20
Every year I get
excited for what
changes the latest
WWE game might
bring. Sometimes,
though, it’s kind of
disappointingly just
more of the same.
This year, though,
it’s all about the
‘Women’s Evolution’
in the WWE. Cool!

Dragon Ball Z
Kakarot
Don’t get me wrong
the fighting games
are great, but what
I’ve always wanted is
a proper Dragon Ball
RPG, and now I know I
won’t have to wait
long until I finally get
the chance.

Streets Of Rage 4
I must have spent
hundreds of hours in
the ’90s playing the
original trilogy on my
Mega Drive, and this
belated follow-up is
looking like a perfect
evolution of the
fighting formula. Plus,
Yuzo Koshiro’s back!
