The elegant weapon of the Jedi, not
as random or clumsy as a blaster, and
Cal’s weapon of choice. Basically an
energy sword, the lightsaber is most
effective in slicing the arms off walrus
men in Mos Eisley bars or pinging
blaster shots back at your enemies
using superhuman reactions given to
you by the Force. It’s no good just
slashing away with it, it’s all in the
timing. The Souls-like combat means
you need to be as patient as a Jedi
and use your lightsaber to break your
opponent’s guard before landing the
killer blow. They may strike you down,
but you will become more powerful
than you can possibly imagine.Metroid
Metroidvanias take their name from
the Metroid and Castlevania games,
in which revisiting an area previously
seen but inaccessible, is part of
gameplay progression. In the case of
Jedi: Fallen Order, such areas might
be initially blocked off by an obstacle
that can eventually be removed by
Jedi powers, once Cal’s acquired
them. Ditto BD-1, which may, once
levelled up, be able to hack a lock to

Clone Protocol 66 was programmed
into the control chips implanted in
the brains of Grand Army clone
troopers, and when activated

Darth Sidious, aka Senator Palpatine,
made his move to take control of the
Republic, and destroy the Jedi Order,
the protocol was activated – and this
all but wiped out the Jedi. Order 66
resulted in the slaughter of the
young Jedi initiates on Coruscant. Cal
Kestis is a survivor of the massacre,
which took place three years before
the events of Jedi: Fallen Order.O
