Here at OXM, we’re absolutely fanatical when it
comes to Resident Evil. It hardly feels like a year has
gone by since we were getting all kinds of excited
for the Resident Evil 2 reboot, and that would have
been enough to last us a little while... but here we
are, reporting on news of a very different kind of
Resident Evil game. Project Resistance (at least
that’s its name for now) looks to offer up a rather
different Resi experience than we’re used to.
Essentially it’s an online co-operative survival game,
but while four of you work together to survive, a
fifth player controls the game’s monsters – even
the unstoppable Tyrant! Find out everything we
know about the game on page 8 this month! In fact,
it seems the ‘Projects’ are coming thick and fast
round here. Project xCloud is Microsoft’s new Xbox
streaming service, and we’ve got news of how you
can get involved in public testing on page 12. Then
there’s news of a turn-based classic returning to
Xbox after years away. Civilization VI is coming to
Xbox One soon – see page 14! We also take a look
