jar decoration
Step 1
STITCH the mason jar using two
strands for the cross stitch and one for
the backstitch, apart from the stars
which are stitched in two strands.
Step 2
CUT around the design one square
outside the stitching, using small,
sharp scissors, taking care when
cutting around the jar clip.
Step 3
Step 4
PLACE the stitched jar on co-
ordinating felt, and cut the jar shape
from the felt. Using fabric glue, stick
the felt to the back of the jar. Trim
around the edges to remove any felt
that is overhanging the jar edge.
CUT a length of thin gardening wire
for the hanger. Thread the wire ends
through the paper on either side of the
jar, then bend the wire ends into a āUā
shape. Your mason jar is ready for
hanging on your tree.
