button on the underside of the Beats Solo Pro
and enter “transparency mode,” offering perhaps
the most natural-sounding passthrough on any
consumer-focused headphone product. With
the AirPods Pro, Transparency Mode comes to
an Apple-branded earphone product for the first
time, and it’s a truly impressive tool.


Users are now able to simultaneously listen
to music while still hearing the environment
around them, which is particularly useful when
listening to the traffic when you’re out for a
jog or when waiting for an announcement for
a train or flight during the morning commute.
