album Wildcard. It shows in the finished
work, which feels like a fresh start infusing
influences of rock ‘n’ roll into the artist’s

enforced break. - “Oddly enough, on my seventh studio
album, I feel like I approached it more like
my first album than any other record I’ve

lighthearted breakup song where Lambert
fantasizes about killing an ex but decides
that prison is too unappealing. - The album’s first single, “It All Comes Out
