That’s without mentioning kids programming
such as Helpsters, a Sesame Workshop TV show
where preschoolers can learn about life and
code. Snoopy in Space, on the other hand, is
Apple’s first STEM-focused show from a deal
to create original Peanuts content. Oprah’s
Book Club also launches on day one with a
new episode every two months. The talk show
legend signed a multi-show deal with Apple,
and for her Book Club, she’ll interview authors
across the US, with the first episode focusing
on The Water Dancer by Ta-Nehisi Coates.


And that’s without mentioning the shows
that are set to launch in the coming months.
Apple has been hyping Hala, which “follows
a high school senior struggling to balance
being a suburban teenager with her traditional
Muslim upbringing,” expected to launch in
December 2019 following a theatrical release
on November 22, which would make it
eligible for awards. Servant features Rupert
Grint and Lauren Ambrose, whilst Truth Be
Told features Academy Award winner Octavia
Spencer and Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul with
a December 2019 release date penciled in at
Apple TV+’s headquarters.
