planningtouseanairCPUcooler,there’s
only155mmofCPUcoolerclearance,which
limitsyouroptions.However,thePC-O 11
DynamicRazerEditionisn’t reallydesigned
foraircoolingandhasinsteadbeengeared
towardsliquidcoolersandwatercooling.
Forsucha compactchassis,atlessthan
45 cmtallanddeep,it’s impressivethatit can
housethree 360 mmradiators. Thisisachieved

by moving the PSU and storage drives to a
different area of the case from the usual one.
Two of the three hard disk mounts sit in a
cage in a second chamber of this cube-style
case, with space for a third in a plate behind
the motherboard tray. There are also SSD
trays beneath the motherboard bringing
the total amount of storage to three 3.5in
mounts and six 2.5in mounts, all without
limiting the water-cooling credentials.
One of the triple 120mm fan mount areas
sits within the dividing panel of the case,
with the back side of the case providing the
ventilation for it. This arrangement allows
you to present the top fans of the radiator
to the front, windowed section of the case
whilekeepingallthemessystuffbehindthe
dividingpanel,fora verycleanoveralllook.
Theroofandbaseoffersimilarradiator
support,sothere’ssomeofthebestpotential
fora water-coolingsystemhere,despitethe
relativelycompactdimensionsforthisE-ATX
case.Externally,it’sveryattractivetoo,with
thePC-O11DynamicRazerEditionsporting
digitalRGBlightingaroundtheglass-cladfront
andbaseofthecase.It provides
a subtleglowthatlooks
fantastic,evenif youdohave
toputupwitha Razerlogo
inthefrontglasspanel.
Youalsogeta USB3.1
Type-Cportonthefront
panel,butothercasemod
conssuchascabletidying
andfancontrolsaremostly
non-existentinthisclean
slateofa PCcase.Withno
fansincludedasstandard,it
wasn’tsurprisingtoseethe
caselanguishnearthebottom
ofthepileinbothCPUand
GPUdeltaT results,although
itsGPUdeltaT wasaided
by the well-ventilated base,
bettering the fan-assisted
Fractal Design Vector RS and
coming within a degree of the
Corsair Carbide Series 678C.

Conclusion
If moneywerenoobjectandwehadtopick
fromthismonth’sline-uptobuildhigh-end
water-cooledPC,we’ddefinitelychoose
theLianLiPC-O11DynamicRazerEdition.
It lacksmanyconveniencesandhasno
fansoutofthebox,butit’snotdesignedto
competewiththelikesoftheNZXTH700i.
Instead,youhavea hugeblank
canvastoworkwithandconsiderable
potentialtoo.Inaddition,thereare
customdistributionplatesavailablefor
thePC-O11DynamicRazerEditionthat
takethingstothenextlevelintermsof
water-coolingandmodding.So,whilethe
askingpriceisjusta startingpoint,Lian
Lihasdonethehardworkandcreated
a superbcasefora liquid-cooledPC.

One of the best cases for water cooling
we’ve seen and it’s a looker too.
