Rock layer, change the duplicate’s
color to green (#252c21), and
reduce its Opacity to 15%.
Step Six: Duplicate the green
Rock copy layer, change the dupli-
cate’s color to a tan (#c8c0a6),
and reduce its Opacity to 10%.
Step Seven: Duplicate the tan
Rock copy 2 layer, change the
duplicate’s color to olive green
(#434336), and increase its Opac-
ity to 60%.
Step Eight: Duplicate the olive
green Rock copy 3 layer, and
change the duplicate’s color to
yellow (#f7da54). Set its blending
mode to Soft Light and decrease
its Opacity to 10%. Yellow acts
as the sun’s reflection.
Since we’re starting to have
a lot of Rock layers, go ahead
and select them all in the Layers
panel, and press Command-G
(PC: Ctrl-G) to group them. Name
this group “Rock.”
