Trim your aida to within
six squares of the
stitching, then fray one row
of fabric all the way around
the edge. You can either pull
the threads out by hand or
by using a pair of tweezers.

Cut a piece of white
paper slightly smaller
than your fabric, and stick this
to the back of the stitching
using double-sided tape.

Place more strips of
double-sided tape on
the back of the paper.

Add patterned paper
to your card blank.

Position the stitching
centrally over the
paper on the card blank.
Once you are happy
with the position,
carefully stick the design
in place.
