How to make a patch
1
When you have completed all of your
stitching, trim your aida to within two
squares of the stitches, then fray one row
of fabric all the way around the edge. You
can either pull the threads out by hand or
using a pair of tweezers.
2
Cut a piece of white paper slightly
smaller than your aida, and stick this
to the back of the stitching using a piece
of double-sided tape.
3
Finally, use double-sided tape to
attach your stitching to the card.
“I couldn’t wait to
get started on these
sophisticated cards,
and my aim was for
them to look unique
and ornate. I love the
effect of the modern
colours, highlighted
with a touch of gold
sparkle, I’m a big fan
of seed beads.”
