Foundations

AW19/

by The Fibre Co.

Beautiful colourwork and sophisticated
textures take centre stage in the new range
of patterns from The Fibre Co. Part of its
‘Foundations’ series, the seasonal projects for
women have a classic, cosy look, and have
been inspired by the Cumbrian countryside.
Among the new patterns is ‘Seacross’ by
Becky Baker, a seamless sweater with an
attractive colourwork yoke worked in five
shades of Lore lambswool. ‘Bowness’ is a
top-down raglan jumper with a subtle grid
pattern of knit and purl stitches, designed
by Orlane Sucche to showcase the tweedy
Arranmore yarn.
The collection includes a pretty jumper
with a bobble lace yoke, and a drop-shoulder
cardigan knitted in chunky Tundra yarn.
There are lovely accessories, too, such as
a modern Fair Isle hat, a mock cable blanket,
a hat with a delicate undulating cable pattern,
and a stunning cabled cowl by Inese Sang.
Digital patterns cost £5.50 each for garments
and £4 for accessories, and are available to
buy and download from http://www.thefibreco.com
