“THIS CARDIGAN reminds me of the
Little House on the Prairie books by
Laura Ingalls Wilder, recalling those
long, swooping dresses paired with
tight cardigans with a longer waist
ribbing,” says Kristin Blom. “The classic
Shetland horseshoe pattern adds lace to
the yoke; the stitch has been adapted to
work with the yoke increases. The picot
edgings flirt with the lace trimmings of
prairie dresses and shirts. The glass
buttons, different for the front and
sleeves, add to the vintage feel.”
