sure-fire investment for businesses of all shapes
and sizes looking to streamline and cut costs.
According to Musk, there will be two day-cab
models, a short-range version that will start
at $150,000 and a midrange truck starting at
$180,000. A typical Class 8 diesel day-cab
starts at around $120,000, so whilst the Tesla
Semi is more expensive, it offers long-term
savings, with the difference paid off in two years.
